ID these wheels please

So he'p a brother out please.

Anybody know these wheels and sizes? They almost, but not quite look like factory 993 2 piece wheels, but they aren't.

I sure like the way they look on this car and the stance looking from the rear quarter.

I'm guessing it's a 17" wheel w/ spacers to fill things out so nice? 8" wide in front, 10" in rear?

Any ideas are appreciated.

Damn. You're good. That only took 5 minutes. I Googled them and here's some that were listed on Rennlist. I can start my search now. Thanks!

Does anyone know anything about them quality, weight, etc?

They tend to sell for cheap because they’re not true multi-piece wheels and aren’t very light weight. The manufacturing RH has been making aftermarket wheels for sometime so quality is probably decent. Often see this selling for $1k or less for a set.

Hmmm...

Maybe a set of the factory two piece 993 wheels would be better? They're 17x7 front and 17x9 rear. Both have 55mm offset. They'd be more expensive and probably need refinished, but that's not a big deal for either cost or refinishing. It would then just be playing with spacers a bit to get the right look.

Or you could go for the real deal:

Google “SKU: 993RSWHEELS” first dealership parts link

Spacers are still necessary though. The wheels might be worth as much as your car too.

Yeah, Suncoast would love to sell me a set of those. They'd sure look good in 18" x 8 and 10. But yeah, a lot of spacer for a 10" wheel w/ a 65mm offset.

I'm eyeballing a set of 17" Speedlines on eBay for $1600. Probably more in my league.

Happy hunting!

I’ve got a set of these kicking around that I’ve wanted to refinish (from all black to polished lip and RSR style contrasting petals) and put on my car, but I also like the MY ‘02 wheels on it so much it’s hard to justify the change.

I like those! They'd look good!

I just had a set of Cup II replica wheels and a set of Dyno wheels refinished. I think I'm the only guy in the world that likes Dyno wheels.

Cup II and Dyno are great wheels too. The dyno wheels are pretty rare and obscure. They make me think of spiderwebs for some reason.

Frank - no idea - I just drop them off with my guy that does wheel refinishing and tell him to fix 'em up. I'll ask him the next time I see him.

These could be a good option for someone looking to emulate the 993RS look on a budget.

The inner spokes are smaller diameter than factory original, but these could be built with stepped lips out to 18” if desired. Honestly, I think 17” wheels with taller tire treads (than w/ 18s) is a great look for the 986 Boxster.
