Boxster Concept Interior

Perusing the interwebs tonight I came across photos of the original Boxster Concept, and I couldn't help but notice how beautiful the interior is! Don't get me wrong, our cars are beautiful in their own right. But, damn...

One thing that really caught my attention was the center console and gear shifter. Has anyone ever seen anything aftermarket that resembles this? That is probably the coolest shifter I have ever seen, and the hvac setup seems more practical than the stock setup.

Best, Ike

I know it's apples and oranges...... I saw a Pagani at a C&C (pre-rona) and that shifter is a work of art.

This is probably the closest commercially available aftermarket solution I am aware of (big $$$ though)

Paaganis are works of art. And the spyker, which I had never heard of until now, wow. I'm not even sure I understand how these shifters can be functional, too bad they are oem only in fantasy land!

That’s a hideous mess and not even remotely like the concept.

I never said it it was a good match, I just said it's the closest out of the box product if you're looking for an exposed linkage like the spyker or pagani. What else can you buy for our cars that is remotely close? Numeric is all I can think of and but unless you leave your center console out it's completely hidden like the OEM console is. He asked for something aftermarket

And I agree, not my cup of tea either.
