Just bought the ROW M030

$975 from Sunset Porsche. It will take about a month to get to me. I'm excited to see what this car is really supposed to feel like.

Sounds great, I was also thinking about that setup, please let us know when you get it installed and how it feels.

Thanks of the offer, I think I will take you up on it when I get some funds together, I have to sell my old wheels and tires first.....

I put the ROW M030 in my 2000 S about a year ago and have been very pleased. It is definitely stiffer with less body roll and lowered the car slightly. Gave it a little meaner looking stance without hugging the ground to close.

What was surprising to me was that you can stand on the door sill and jump up and down without budging the car yet it does an adequate job of absorbing bumps in the road. I have taken a number of long road trips and it was fine.

Good improvement for autocross. Car feels very tight and has been limited more by my tires.

What tires are you running for autocrosses?

Thanks for the review. The car handles incredibly as it is and if I didn't have a very stiffly sprung Rx-7 to compare to, I'd be totally satisfied. But as it is, the Boxster feels too luxurious compared to the Rx-7 and I need to remedy that situation.

I'm looking at about $900 for the install and another $100 for an alignment. It seems kind of rediculous to spend as much on the install as the parts but I can't seem to find a better deal.

Keep looking - you should be able to find one for half that...

Do you recommend any area in the Sacramento region? The lowest quote I was given from three indie shops was $700 with a $150 four wheel alignment!!!!

If anyone's got any suggestions in the Denver area, I'd appreciate it.

They are a set of Kumho Escta's 205's/255's. I'm replacing them soon with Michelin PS2's. I've read too many good things about them to not give them a try.

I paid quite bit for the installation of the ROW M030 but felt that it was well worth it. The shop I went to does a lot of race prepping for Porsche's. They were not cheap but I really wanted it done right.

I would think the info in this post would benefit a potential buyer researching this purchase in the future. The subject of the post is about the ROW M030 and that's what was discussed on my link to a different post.

Did you use the Porsche alignment settings?
