You sent me down the correct path, it was a short walk, I had intalialy discounted the gascap as I had just replaced it. However, I had fuelled up that day. The gas gap was cross threaded. Reinstlled and probem solved.

BTW, I see you are in Washington state, quite close by forum standards.

You have a friend at the beach.
