This grand lady has been mentioned in various posts. For those old enough to remember Emma Peel, wow. The younger members might remember her more recently from Game of Thrones. God speed Mrs. Bond.

Inevitably, a boyhood fantasy of mine in her portrayal of Emma Peel in the Avengers. (She held her pistol in that funny, most feminine way, just like Agent 99 in Get Smart—who I also was crazy in love with!). I'm sorry I never had the chance to see her in live theatre. I'll bet she was great.

From all indications, truly a Classy Lady.

So sorry to see her go.
