Inevitably, a boyhood fantasy of mine in her portrayal of Emma Peel in the Avengers. (She held her pistol in that funny, most feminine way, just like Agent 99 in Get Smart—who I also was crazy in love with!). I'm sorry I never had the chance to see her in live theatre. I'll bet she was great.

From all indications, truly a Classy Lady.

So sorry to see her go.
