Seats from 997 into 986

Looking to install 997 Full Power seats into 2000 986. Have seen Pelican wiring guide. Cannot find info on bypassing drivers seat memory function. Any late info on this swap?

Here's a link to a more complex seat swap that I completed on my Mercedes C230. https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w203/716541-seat-swap-2009-c63.html

It may provide some strategies for adapting the 987/997 seats to a 986. I had to bypass the memory controls and disable the seat air bags.

I occasionally think about putting C63 AMG seats in my Boxster. They would be great for a track day. I'll need to take out my measuring tape and see if they would fit before I start.

I saw a post on one of the Facebook Boxster groups, guy had the same issue. He bought a passenger seat bottom from a UK salvage yard to use for his driver seat bottom to address this same issue. A side bonus for him was that passenger seats typically have less wear than driver's seats. Seems like a lot of effort to solve the problem, but that is what he did.
