I'm gonna Guinee pig this one. I'm just gonna put them in the tires I'll either use the big zip tie (the Ford way) or just duct tape it to the inside (that works if you broke the Ford factory way LOL)

Why not try heavy-duty velcro strips? These are the same type that my EZ-Pass came with and they work very well:
