Random question, maybe a dumb one, but it's been buggin' me every time I get out the spare tire tool kit (like I did this weekend, needing to take the wheels off).

What's this used for?
Headlight tool.

8mm deep socket works also - you pull carpet aside in frunk, remove a small rubber plug and spin a nut 6 inches in the hole about 90 degrees, the entire headlight assembly pops loose. be good to your paint when reinstalling it.

Oh thank god the 8mm socket works. My current boxster didn't come with the little tool. I didn't want to have to buy some silly tool to install my headlights.
You also use this tool to align your light pattern for your headlights. If you ever pulled out your headlight you will see the hex pattern on the side of it. Those are the points where you adjust your low beam and fog light. I recall it being a 5MM though.
