Durametric or Schwaben scan tool? Which is better?

I'm shopping for a scan tool and know about the Durametric, however Schwaben makes one
as well. Any feedback from members about which one works better in the real world?
Online reviews are all over the place.

Thanks for any input and Happy Boxstering!

Hands down, the Durametric is better.

I have only used the Durametric and a simple OBD reader. I figure the Durametric has paid for itself in the year and a half that I have owned it. It has saved me several trips to a dealer and or my indy, i.e. reset the airbag light twice, reset hidden trans code that my OBD couldn't see, etc.

A foxwell will do Almost all of the things that a Durametric can do.
Depending on the year of your car and its ECU programing you can be some what limited in what you can do anyway.
On my 2000S there are fewer things I can access or do with any scanner, Durametric or Foxwell included.
(I have both). Then say on a 2010 model car.

If you go to the Durametric website you can look up your car by year and see the modules the Durametric will access.
I think you can do the same on the Foxwell website but not positive.

Foxwell will access any OBDII and pull codes and live data.
Durametric is Porsche specific.

I have used both, and for the money I say go for the Durametric! Watch this video on what you can do with the Durametric.

Is the Launch OBD2 Scanner brand any good? I found it on Amazon, and seems pretty decent but it is $35 so I am guessing you get what you pay for.
