Difficulty shifting into gear when engine is on, hot or not

Hello, I thought I had an account here but I couldn't find the login details so I made a new one. yaaay.

Anyway, I'm having an issue pop up recently where it's difficult to shift into gear when the engine is on. When parked, I can shift just fine and the shifter bushings and linkage clips to the side of the transmission look fine. It seems that shifting into the upper gears (R,1,3,5) might be slightly harder but I'm not entirely sure about that. When the engine is on, I really gotta push to get into gear, but it seems fine once in gear.

It's a 2004 with 62k on it, so not quite at the 90k transmission fluid change, but the age may put it there. I'm also wondering if maybe something is wrong with the clutch, but it starts up just fine so I'm not sure.

Your clutch isn't disengaging properly. Have the slave cylinder bled to get rid of any air in the system, and if that doesn't work, it's time to have the clutch worked on, plus all the other stuff that gets easy access when the transmission is out, like IMS!
