Coolant recommendation

Thanks for the replies. He is in SoCal and does not drive a lot, but I seriously think he has never checked the coolant tank. Yesterday I looked at it when he asked me and it is not a couple cups low...it is almost empty. Just high enough to cover the low level sensor.
He's a cheapskate, so I'm just asking: Peak Pink or Dex-Cool to fill the tank.
