New set of struts

Does anyone have experience with Koni "Active" technology struts? My originals have lost their gas charge and I've been looking at alternatives.

They used to be called "Koni FSD", now called "Special Active" - search on that and you should find some info. I've got them and I love them

I also think they're great.

For me, since late 2016 with a short break in the fall of 2018 when I ran PSS9 for a short spell. Approximately 20,000 miles, mostly highway miles and track miles. Would definitely buy again if I had a car that needed struts and the Koni was an option

I got the koni yellow sport ones for a discount that might be still available and I love them (street use). I coupled them with H&R lowering springs (not part of the discount). I’ll check if the discount is still available if you ask.

Do these dampers come with boots or bump stops or do you use the original parts or maybe they don't use either one?

They need everything from the original.struts except the old strut. Recommend buying new bump stops and possibly new top mounts, the boots and stuff are usually good.

Did you replace to koni sports both front and rear?
Did you have any problems to mount them in the housing? I have seen that someones experience problems with too "thick" strut and with the weldings?
