bought two new keys last year and had them programmed. Both worked great until last month. One would not activate locks or alarm and the little light did not come on. Replaced battery and still no go. Spare key works great. Took key to dealer under its warranty and they changed battery again and all works great. Seems that my Advance Auto battery was dead even though new. No charge from dealer and I apologized for their effort.
