Question Middle Display Out

Hi the 986ers.
I just had my instrument cluster out to do the OBC mod and adjust the dials a bit. After I connected everything back up, the middle display is dark. I checked and re-check all the connectors. I then removed the two wires I had added during the mod and retried. Still nothing from the middle display. Could I have shorted it out somehow? Is there an easy way to check if it is getting power?
Thanks,
~Eric

The bulb is burnt out. Replace the bulb.

Ok. I'll check that out. However, and I may be wrong, but I think the LCD display is a sealed unit.

While "sealed" the LCD typically has a BACKLIGHT bulb(s) which illuminates the LCD. On my 98' there are at least 5 small bulbs that backlight several sections of the LCD (odo, clock, speedo, etc.) Pretty easy to change...I found video instructions on You Tube......
