Blowing over the top of a Coke bottle sound

My car has developed this noise more frequently now.
I know it has been discussed here many times.

I did a search but cannot come up with any thread that talks about this issue.

Please help.

Annoying woo woo sound right?
Mine has been doing this for a couple of years, mainly at steady rpm driving.
First place to look is the fuel filler vent valve, one of which I (finally) bought.
There’s a DIY on the Pelican Parts site on how to swap this out.

Had this sound some years ago, replacing the valves did not solve it. My fix was to put a piece of sponge in the hole in front of fuel filler cap.
Still allows for ventilation but will stop the sound

I placed a rag around the filler nozzle to see if it blocked this damn noise.

It worked.

Now at least I know where the noise is coming from

Use duct tape to cover the vent hole to verify.
