good luck
986 storage space is already great. Instead they should better create a Retro 911 style hard top

+1.
-1 to those that can't tell the difference between a hatchback and a shooting brake.

I think it's pretty cool, someone has gone to a lot of work to do that. It looks pretty good for a one-off.

Seems pretty well thought out and execution looks good too. Will be looking to see what it looks like finished...

That goes to show I'm never too old to learn! I never heard the term "shooting brake" before so I googled it. Neat history on the body style. I've always thought of it as a type of 'wagon'.
I guess a shooting brake is in the wagon family, but not all wagons are shooting brakes. Take my Outback, for instance. I doubt anybody would consider it a shooting brake. Did I get it right?

Piper, I don't remember the exact definition, but when I think of a shooting brake, two cars come to mind:
BMW Clownshoe (Z3 M Coupe)
and Volvo P1800 ES

too funny. if you look up shooting brake on wiki, it says "The first production model shooting brake of the 21st century was the 2012 Mercedes Benz CLS-Class Shooting Brake" which is very wrong, so i added a sentence about the z3 and z4 coupes!
my faves are the clownshoes, the lotus europa and the ferrari breadvan.

From Wikpedia: Shooting-brake is a car body style which originated in the 1890s as a horse-drawn wagon used to transport shooting parties with their equipment and game.[1]
I guess 21st Century shooting parties consist of a driver, a passenger and a couple shotguns. That's the modern "shooting brakes" seem to leave room for.

Ah yes, the Lotus Europa. I remember fondly those days of tooling around in the Lotus among the fields of Hethel with my mates hunting pheasant. Shot my left foot off after my shotgun went off in the cabin. Never really missed it though. Quite.
Just sayin'..........

Thumbs up for their effort!
But I don't see neither a demand nor a market for it.
Style wise...it lost quite some Porsche DNA, instead of adding some…
Sorry, not my taste

Lots of stories about this project all over the internet but no pictures of the interior. I really want to see how the trunk is finished and how it transitions into the engine cover and to the seats! Also curious to see if they left in the roll bar, took it out completely or just cut off the hoops as the seatbelt shoulder harness point is on the side of the roll bar.
