hahnster Registered User Join Date: Mar 2015 Location: Sacramento, CA Posts: 18	How Long Should Driveshaft Last? I have a 2001 Boxster S. I replaced both axles about 3 years and 30,000 miles ago. Now I have (WAWAWA) noise coming from the rear and I am told my right axle needs to be replaced. Is this normal to have to replace axles? I don't drive the car that hard. Once in a while I launch it and spin the wheels but not intentionally or often.
