I agree. BMW is garbage after about 6 years. The worst car I ever owned was a 3 series. They are going after a segment that would never own a car that is more than 5 years old, or after the 3 year lease ends, so nothing is built to last longer than that.

Same. Had an X5.... worst build quality of any car I've ever owned. Jumped for joy when I slid into a curb in the snow and TOTALED it!
