986 Cooling System

1. Has anyone ever heard of a coolant tank failure where-in the float in the tank came loose and settled to the bottom thus keeping the low level sender reacting with a blinking light. Yes, cheap aftermarket tank.
2. Can someone please advise how to clean front radiator debris?

Its really easy.

1. Remove the front bumper cover
2. Remove the plastic air guides
3. Clean the AC condensers and then move them out of the way. They swing away from the radiators on the inside.
4. Clean the radiators.
5. Install screens in the bumper cover openings
6. Reinstall everything

The fasteners are straight forward. If something doesn't move easily you have missed a fastener.

The Bentley manual has all the pieces, but scattered around in the cooling system section.

I am sure a search of the forums will uncover a DIY.

Be careful, to remove, the outside temp sensor on the bottom left opening. (Passenger side US)
