Ever consider doing that upgrade for forum members? A member sends you their headlights (paying to/from shipping)... the parts you'll need (specific to your list of parts and your preferred vendor(s))... and you supply the technical labor...

What might you charge for that effort... and what might be the turnaround?

Thanks for the compliment but I'm retired and not really up to the challenge of building these for sale but if any one is interested I be glad to walk you or anyone else through the process. This is a controversial mod. I myself switch back to my factory xenons often then get the mood for the mod again. There are two ways to do this project. A inexpensive way and the one I've done in the latest pic posted.
If anyone wants to try it just post a comment and I can post some tutorials.

I will be trying this mod in a couple months for sure. Watched a youtube on doing it and have practiced opening one headlight already on a damaged one i had. Getting that thing open is not easy or fun.

I'm afraid I've not the testicular fortitude to crack open my headlights. I had considered purchasing a used pair and going that route... but... the 'fortitude' would be on backorder.

Here's the cheap way - Avery Dennison vinyl wrap to match the car, applied directly to the headlight, and then mini Cooper headlight bezels with the backs ground flush and attached using 3m trim tape. The look is good I think. Not as good as JB'e but for $65 and 1 hour of work it's not too shabby! Throw in new led bulbs and reroute the turn signal light wiring to the parking light bulb and you've got a pretty decent setup. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...fa567c4ed4.jpg
