Well, the 4th bow being out of position finally caused a problem. I was opening the top a couple days ago and it started to bind and before I stopped it the red plastic end cap cracked, which they are supposed to do to protect the more costly parts. I have temporarily disconnected the top and clamshell from the top transmission until I can solve the problem.

Here is where I need some help from anyone with a 2003/2004 OEM top (4th bow/glass rear window). In trying to find what is no longer holding the 4th bow in place, I pulled back the headliner from just behind the drivers side window and found a strap attached to the 4th bow but no longer attached on the other end. I cannot tell where it used to be attached, and it is torn loose on the passenger side as well.

I will attach 2 pics showing the strap on the drivers side, the first is from farther out for orientation and the second is closer in with the headliner pulled toward the inside of the car to show the strap attached to the 4th bow but disconnected on the other end. I am hoping someone with a 2003/4 top can go out to their car and pull their headliner back and take a pic and tell me where this strap should be attached. Then I can figure out how to fix it (probably pulling the top and frame back off the car to access and reattach).
Thanks in advance for any help!!
