Ideas for diagnosing air bag light

Any suggestions on where to start? I replaced the grommets under the air bag 6 months ago due to the horn going off. But it seemed to go ok, no light anyway. Until about a month ago when it went on. I had an issue a few years ago with the wiring harness under the drivers seat. It became partly disconnected. It’s connected now but it seems fragile. Can that effect the air bag light?

Just trying to figure out where to start.

My problem was under the seat plug in. I did both seats. I cleaned them with electrical cleaner and so far so good.

Start by using a Porsche specific scan tool and get the code(s), which will point you to where to begin.......................

Typically a grounding issue. https://sites.google.com/site/mikefocke2/airbagwarninglighttsb

the airbag light is also triggered by a bad steering angle sensor, if you can find someone near with a Durametric it will show the correct code..

PS: something like this:

Sorry, I just saw your reply.
I am suspecting the plug under the drivers seat. Had an issue with it a few years ago. Super tight space tho. Did you remove the seat?

I did remove the seat because of the immobilizer. You might try loosening the rear bolts and remove the front ones and pry something to hold it up. Let us know.
