Roof channel

Before everyone points me to all the posts on the fix to get the top to fall into the channel when shutting the roof; been there done that. I've followed tutorials, looked at YouTube and still can't get it right. Would someone post a CLEAR picture of exactly where to attach the material (both ends) and what is the length of the material (elastic?) to use.

Thanks,

Fred in Callahan
