James Dean's Porsche Spyder

The remains of it, at least (1955)

There is a memorial at the intersection where the accident happened. I drive through there often and always think of what happened.

And yes, I've driven through there in my Boxster on my way to Salinas to race... (creepy music playing in the background)

I have the song “James Dean” by the Eagles on my iPod. I am wondering whether I am tempting fate when it plays in my silver mid-engine Porsche spyder.

Your tempting fate every time you just drive your car, regardless of music or type of car.

Going to a car show to see that car on display is like gawking at a car accident as you drive by - - - OH
