Is there a difference between opening from the outside or inside?

Not sure why that’s a LOL?

It seems similar to a buddy’s 996 - from the inside the glass drops and only lifts when the door is shut, while from the outside it’ll drop but immediately lift when the handle is released (door still open). Trying to see if it could be a microswitch issue or something else.
