A few years ago, I replaced both of these hoses on my '07 CS because they were cracked, the hose #4 on the previous message was difficult because the access to it, however didn't have to remove the intake plennum.

I removed the engine cover behind the seats and managed to squeeze the fitting that connects the hose to the valve on top of the engine, it is tight but definitely doable, also the OEM accordion hose is not too expensive.

You will need some patience and some cursing, but should expect to spend a couple hundred dollars (max) for the hose nothing near the $1k +
