Vacuum Cleaner Noise on Start Up

Don't know how else to describe it... every morning when I first start my 2000 BoxsterS, there is a mysterious squeeling noise coming from the area behind the passenger seat head rest. It continues for a few seconds, then ends with a noise that sounds like a vacuum cleaner winding down. It only does it on the initial start up. Car has 88,000 trouble-free miles on it, and is well maintained. Any one else ever experience this?

ts the secondary air injection pump or SAI. It pushes air through the cats until they warm up. All normal.

+ 1 on SAI pump. Runs ~90 sec. Squealing noise is probably bearings going out. There are threads on rebuild etc. But if it was me They are cheap on ebay. QualityPorsche parts highly recommended seller. Buy a low mileage one and swap out.
