Tarett Rear Toe Control Arms

Had my '04 S aligned today and the shop said they were unable to get the left side rear toe within specs. Nothing bent or damaged so I am looking at installing Tarett's "rear toe control arms". I don't track this car so is the "locking plate kit" necessary or just good insurance?

Not necessary in my opinion if not tracking. That said, I do have the locking plates as they came with my rennline arms.... But I track a lot too

Thanks Steve,
Any particular reason you chose the Rennline arms over the Tarett's?

I got them secondhand (but new) at a good price. They come with the locking plates and also are bumpsteer adjustable, but I never use that. In fact I am not even lowered, I just got them as part of a deal when I got my GT3 LCA in front. Neither the bump steer adjustment or the locking plates are needed on a street car in my opinion. If I ever had to get these again for another car I would likely get Tarett, his stuff is good and he has always been very helpful in advising me on car setup when using his bars and stuff.

If you are price sensitive, take a look at the megan racing units. They are about $200 for the set and quality looks pretty good. I have them and don't have any issues.
