 Trunk Lights I was trying to figure out why my front trunk light was not functioning. I happened to open rear trunk and front trunk light came on !! Any ideas on this phenomena would be appreciated. |

 So if they don't light up when the front only is open, the issue most likely is the micro-switch in the front latch (common BTW). Same in reverse if rear open but light does not illuminate. Suggest you try working it w/ some good penetrating oil (Kroil, PB Blaster, etc.) to see if it'll free up first... Otherwise you'll need to remove and check the contacts, wiring etc. Repair / replace as needed from there. Good luck :) |
