Looking for TSB 6315 (aero kit 1 install)

I’ve done several searches and cannot find the information I need.

I’m considering a used set of aerokit 1 side skirts. They do not come with any mounting hardware. I plan to use 3m automotive tape to secure the top edge, but I need to identify the components that secure the lower edge to the body fold under the car (I think that’s how they are secured, not sure - 5 screw locations on each skirt).

The only mounting part I have identified is a ‘side rail’ part# 986.559.982.00. If this is to attach the upper side, I’d rather use the 3m tape.

The part numbers for the aero kit 1s I’m considering are:

986.559.981.00 (r)
986.559.982.00 (l)

How do these compare to part#s:

986.559.983.00GX2
986.559.984.00GX2

I did find a mounting kit for the aero II. Will it work with the aero I??

000.044.801.65

Can anyone email or provide a link to TSB 6315, or additional info?

Thanks in advance for any info!

My car has the aero kit 1. I can send you pics of all the mounting clip points.

Hi Tommy, hope you guys are doing well! Thanks for the offer, I’ll pm you with our email address now. The pics will definitely help to clear things up.

Does the aero 1 attach underneath on the weld fold with the friction clips which then secure the undercar skirt edge with screws? Assuming so, I’m already trying to locate the clips. I think the clips are included the Porsche part #000.044.801.65

Still trying to get the new garage finished at the new house. Maybe we can meet in sept or early oct for the Catskill drive/lunch.

Please post any additional information you can find. I finally painted my RUF side skirts and would love to install them with the proper factory hardware (bought them standalone/used).

Will do! The fastner kit (quantity 2) is coming from Germany so Sunset says about 3 weeks to deliver.
