The leather dash will eventually shrink due to heat. I also don't have the patience to constantly clean & oil the leather.

With plastic I use 303 protectant... spray, wipe, viola.

I've read before that Porsche leather is already dried out. It's not suppose to be oiled.

Regardless...mine is 18 years old and is in perfect condition despite the Texas sun and heat.

I have a leather dash. I just keep it clean and out of the sun as much as I can. Car cover and sun shade. The leather is in really good shape. I don't slather the conditioner on it either. Maybe a little Armor all, once I'm done wiping the plastic down.
