Ideas for spoiler mod wanted

Hi all,

I really like the "center reflector" style of the 996 4S and others, and was wondering if any of you have ideas on how one could create a red reflector in the shape of the 986 spoiler trim piece (the very top of the spoiler).

So here goes: If you were to create a red reflector spoiler trim, how would you go about it?

Image for inspiration

Vinyl wrap. I think someone here did it...and it didn't look great.

Like this awful mess:

So..... i'ma say it: I kinda like that! Haha. I think that looks very clean on that silver. I wouldn't do it with my blue car, but I think that looks good.

Here's the great thing about personal taste: it's all so individual.

Hmm, that didn't look fantastic. But a) it's on a facelift spoiler and b) the spoiler trim didn't really look like a reflector.

I wonder if it would be possible to buy a larger reflector and Dremel it into shape?

I think it looks pretty good. Breaks up all the silver in the back. IMO, I think these arctic silver cars need an additional splash of color somewhere since the stock rims are silver with matching silver front grills too. I like and might try, thanks for sharing the picture.

To each their own

I think I could live with the red wrap (especially on the silver car) before I could take the cartoonish tailpipe.
