Radio question

On my '99 Boxster at random times while listening to a CD, the system will switch to the radio (CR220). Pushing the TP button restores the CD. Sometimes it may happen 2-3 times in a couple of hours and other days it does not happen at all. Anyone ever encountered this before? Is there an easy fix?
Not a big deal but kind of irritating...
I appreciate any thoughts anyone might offer.

Try playing the CD in another car and see if that happens.

The CD player is supposed to do that if you are listening to Nickelback.

I took my stock radio out, but could it be the traffic alert mode triggering it? You might read up in the manual on that mode how it functions.

What is this "technology of the future" you're referring to as a CD?

This occurs with multiple CD's and does not happen in another car.
Thanks for the reply.

That can't be the problem, no Nickelback for me!

You could check with Becker for unit repair.
