If not using the bumpsteer feature, any benefit to running motorsports front toe arms
I've got a set of these sitting on my shelf:
RSS Adjustable Front Toe/Bump Steer Kit PORSCHE - RSS http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1526654312.jpg I am wondering, if I'm not using the bump steer feature (since I am not lowered), what would be the benefit of installing these vs the OEM style front toe arms? https://web2.carparts-cat.com/default.aspx?32=11523&51=14400478459&55=416+020+00 00&35=144&125=0&36=914&124=914&1146=914&14=4&34=q1 2,100601,100603&1105=1&10=9CB24619B36B40C49B8F5C20 C1091E3D348004&12=140 http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1526654601.jpg They both have a ball joint at the outboard end right? So no rubber, just a monoball? I'm wondering if I should install these arms and if I would receive any benefit? |
You probably wouldn't notice any difference.

The benefit is not just bump-steer. They are more rigid to take the abuse of tracking, If you ride rumble strips and the like while your on track these are a good upgrade.

I might put them on next time I go to tweak the alignment up front.
