Trunk and hood material

I can't find this info - are the hood and trunk lids (1998 Boxster) made of aluminum or steel? Thanks

Thanks!
BTW, my new-to-me Boxster is also Arctic Silver with Boxster red leather! Love the combo - like the original concept car.
Porsche made a sport exhaust for the 986?

Nice retro combo! Yes, they made one with vacuum actuators to open/ close the bypass. I rigged up a manual switch on mine but needless to say it is always open
