brand new tires or old tires for autocross event??
Hi,
I joined my local PCA & have my first beginners autocross precision driving school scheduled this coming sunday. My car needs new tires, fronts are nearly due & rears are past due. I ordered new & they are scheduled to be installed saturday so everything seemed fine. Then I hear new tires need to break in which usually takes 500 miles, I did not know this.
What do you think? run with the old tires or new ones? or drive a different car?
current weather report for sunday is 26-37 & rain.
