For me, I’ve enjoyed the cat-delete project, but still #1 on my list is the OBC and CC activation that was possible due to my new, good friend Dwight’s (pdwight) superb harnesses. Dwight - don’t work so hard!

GT3 console delete. Might not be for everyone but it has transformed the car for me. Both comfort and heel-toe ability improved immensely.

For the track, Sparco race seat. Aesthetically, I like my #44 in a circle for that retro look.

And add FSD with ROW M030 springs:) |
I just finished the 9x7 shifter upgrade. Best $100 “mod” I’ve come across. Do it! I replaced the knob with the “classic” aluminum knob from Function First. (Available from forum sponsor Pelican) The boot was worn, so I ordered up a replacement from Redline Goods. I got blue stitching on black leather and it looks awesome with my Metro Blue interior. Very happy with how it came out. Smoother shifts...a small ~15% reduction in throw...zero “notchiness.” I can’t say enough about the improvement over my old shifter.
It’s part number: 99742401000 easy to find new or used. |
It's a tie between the Comfort Top relay and the 3-4 stalk OBC upgrade.
(the double din Pioneer head unit is a close third) |

Ironically, I actually had my system working flawlessly after years of tracking down and fixing issues when I decided to ditch it. :D |
Function First console riser...can finally use the lid for my arm and the shifter is higher.
|
For me, installing the 997 GT3 Shifter. Made the car feel like a new one. Nice positive shifts with a shorter throw .
|
I've owned the car long enough now to have an opinion.
Favorite mod thus far: turn off the PSM! HAHA a very close 2nd: the AASCO lwfw. Sent from my SM-G930T using Tapatalk |
Fabspeed Exhaust and short shift kit transformed the car!
