lskolnick Registered User Join Date: Nov 2016 Posts: 130	I am not sure about the 986 Bose sub because I have never seen one in person, but the 987 Bose works perfectly with aftermarket head units. It just needs power, input, and amp turn on signal like any other powered sub.
