2000 Boxster lacquer issues

boxfix Registered User Join Date: Sep 2017 Location: MALIBU Posts: 166	Maybe you call clearcoat lacquer over there in the UK But is it the clearcoat that failed. The only way to do it is a repaint. If it is a metallic color you need base coat and then clearcoat. They you carefully color sand the clear coat and they polish it.
