Thank you, BYprodriver... yes... I've read about the AOS. Mine is the original, horizontal top... so that caused me little concern. I believe I'll hold off on that... keeping an eye out for signs of failure or, at the very least, recognizing smoke from the pipe as not good... pulling over... and off. Maybe testing for vacuum on occasion.
