I have a 2003 Boxster and a 911 built 30 years earlier.

The 1973 911 is REALLY ANALOG......

It does have an electronic ignition ......not the OE Bosch but a way better aftermarket unit from Daytona Sensors, that has a lot of computer power, and a Hall effect electronic points system. Both of these are HUGE improvements over stock.

Otherwise I love it analog ways.

This car is reliable and a great driving experience!!!

Thanks. Because of their odd foot pedal set-up and steering wheel throttle / spark combination, Model Ts are not very popular in the collector car world (they are NOT the std gas-brake-clutch design). Consequently, they are not expensive to buy - anywhere from $5-10K depending on the condition and year. The brass era cars are more expensive but generally don't have the electric starter. Hand cranking is not a good idea. Our '13 would start right off but dad never let me start it - maybe he didn't want to explain to mom how I broke my hand trying to start it.

I gave a co-worker and her 5 yo daughter a ride in the '24 a few yrs ago. The daughter now calls it the wooden car. Pretty appropriate since the floor boards and wheel spokes are wood.

Model Ts are a lot of fun to drive but you have to focus on what you're doing since they're so different. They certainly harken back to a simpler time and are the definition of analog.
