Painting the pair of front radiator grilles black?

Through 2002 all base models came with unpainted black grilles and S versions came with a Titanium Silver painted grilles. Most unpainted black grilles have now degraded to gray, as the biodegradable plastic is doing just that.

I replaced my bumper with one off a 996

Pretty much now confirmed that some black paintwork is in my future.
