Help on drop top mechanicals

Am ready to replace a few of the lever arms on the drop top and need to know if the ball joint ends need to be greased? Any help?

There are just the 2 lever arms. How come you want to replace the levers? If it ain't broke don't fix it....

As for the ball joint ends, when I replaced mine (i had the red ones before on my 99'), I put a little bit of general purpose synthetic grease on them. I don't know what the official word from Porsche is though.

Maybe some of these pics will give you and idea of what's involved:

Make sure you line everything back up when you reassemble.

Good Luck,
