Window won't drop, FRUNK won't open

Hey Guys,

I asked this on another fellas thread.... But on my brand spanking new (to me!) 1998 the driver's side window will not drop (does manually go up and down fine!) and my FRUNK won't open at all...(locked), I'm thinking the micro switch may be bad... Was gonna try the cable tie trick..... Or toss a bike cable tensioner in....if the issue is from cable stretch..... But if not.... I guess I will have to replace the micro switch...

Am I on the right track?

I'm a Porsche newbie, but I'll chime in...

Your frunk/trunk release is cable activated. I was locked out the other day, here's what I did.

Open and close the driver's door several times. Then, lock and unlock the car with the remote, several times in rapid succession.

The window? I'm stumped.

Garage
Possible bad door latch and handle micro switches.
You'll need to do some testing.

Also my keys remote function doesn't seem to be working....I Put new batteries in.... One keys L.E.D. Lights, one doesn't.... Both don't seem to do anything....

Also.... Key in drivers door lock clicks twice.... When turned clockwise.... Window does close when held that way.... But doesn't go down when held counterclockwise.....
