Maintenance and Inspection Schedule (Excel Tool)

Dudes of the 986Forum,

I am trying to put together a list of maintenance items that should be regularly replaced and inspected at their prescribed interval. I have collected a few items and their mileage interval, but I'd like you all to add to this and correct some of the values as needed. I can't seem to insert a table, so bear with the formatting...

Maintenance and Inspection Item / Mileage Interval
Tires / 10,000-20,000
Front brakes / ?
Rear brakes / ?
Brake bleed-flush / 24-48 month
Air Filters (cabin/engine) / 12 months/10,000
Water Pump / 30,000
Spark plugs / 30,000-50,000 (lots of opinions)
Serpentine Belt (same as Drive Belt?) / 60,000
Fuel Filter / ?
Fuel Pump / ?


So, lots more to add to this. If you guys can reply to this and add your interval comments, I will be happy to build an Excel spreadsheet and post it. I have mine working where I just enter my current mileage and I let Excel do all the math for me. I can see what items are coming up in 2018 and I then try to get work done around the times I do the oil change plus when its nice outside to work in the garage!

Also, please keep in mind that I'd like this to focus on not just the parts that should be replaced on schedule, but exactly what items should be inspected and when. If you have good resources to how-to guides for any of these, please include that too. I can add links to the spreadsheet.

So please help me build this and you can have it too!!
