Winterizing Dillemma Oel Change Good Axle Boot Has Issues

Changed oil today to Winterize S01, filter looks great no medal; however, rear axle boot seems like it needs replacing.

Thoughts

Yes it needs to be replaced and the CV joint cleaned, inspected, and if good, new grease installed.

What Paul said.
Was in the same situation a few years back.
I found two split boots while poking around under the car while doing my end of season oil change.
Dealt with it in the spring when the car came back out. No harm done.

Great! That's my plan when 2018 Spring arrives. Tear was on inside and outside and on both sides with only 39000K miles!

It's not the miles, it's the age. I have the same issue (at 50), sigh....
