So does it actually snow where you live? If so, I have a hard time wrapping my head around the idea of people actually putting this car on the road during the winter ....

LOL yes it normally snows here but this winter not much so far. I doubt that I'll be driving my Boxster around in the snow much but I'm sure I take it out and try it. Supposed to be in the 50s for the next few days so I'm going to make the most of it.

From the back shot, that line in the roof is more pronounced, definitely makes the car look more old and timely, those creases look far more 993 than 986 ya know?

The top to windshield gasket that came with the top was way too thin to seal the front gap and had to be glued in place. So got online and found a much better fix with 2 sided tape already applied. I thinks its going to workout fine.

What did you guys decide on the best rear hatch gasket? I put my Zeintop into storage probably 5 years ago, and I have just reinstalled it to change up the look.
Apparently the lengthy time in storage deteriorated my rear rubber gasket enough to result in a squeaky disaster!

I used the one that came with my kit on the hatch. They sell them at the place I bought mine but they are really expensive on parts.
They don't show it their page but they sell the seals. You may give them a call.

Wondering if I spray it with silicon or use gummi pflege it may help mitigate the squeaks. The gasket doesn't look too bad, it's just a bit deformed where the hinges contact it.

i bought just the seal kit from them. $35 for all the seals required iirc. the rear hatch seal they provide is lower profile than the one i'd been using. i think the taller one i was using pushed the hatch up and make it hard to align properly. i hope to be installing the seals this weekend and will advise on results.

Any chance you can post a pic of the seal you received with a ruler next to it so I can measure the differences? My top is the first one ever produced/prototype that Andreas personally flew in to install, so it may be a bit different, but maybe they have improved things along the way.
