Convertible top help please.

I just finished modding my 2004 986 S with Ben006's intake plenum and 911 throttle body http://986forum.com/forums/diy-project-guides/55966-intake-plenum-911-throttle-body.html. (BTW - Great mod, the car runs like a scalded cat.)

As I was closing up the engine compartment and buttoning up the convertible top I found a broken tension rod (with the ball cup socket) on the passenger side. The cable was just sheared off (like a knife cut). I want to order a new part and install it, but I don't know where the other end is connected. Is it on the top transmission?

Any help would be appreciated.

Easy! the other end of the cable attached to your top frame. Take a look at your side that isn't broke and follow the cable up to the top. Buy used cable and you're good to go!
