Battery tender cord location?

I purchased a Porsche battery tender that plugs into the 12Vplug inside the car. I read somewhere that there is a place on the door seal for the cord to rest against that makes room for it??? Where might that be??? I have 2006 boxster base
Thanks in advance

Open your door...

....and look at the weather stripping. There should be two "half-moon" cutouts, one on the bottom and one on the vertical.

I just leave the window down and run it out the window. In a garage, of course.

I haven't found any on my '06 either. I just close it in the lower front corner of the door and it's never been a problem. I don't let the car sit for more than a few weeks though.

Oops...

...didn't see you had a 2006.

You are in the wrong forum.

Try these folks:

987 Discussion Group (Cayman/Boxster)

Good luck.
